Growing with Canvas

This course is an introduction to the LMS Canvas.  As you progress through this course, you will complete several modules that provide learning opportunities on each of the foundational aspects of Canvas. Participants will earn 0.9 General CEUs for completing this course.

Diving Deeper with Canvas

This is an advanced professional development course in the LMS Canvas. Part 1 of this session will cover NCEES topics for Policy and Practice to help Principals, Assistant Principals, as well as Site Administrators, with processes and practices.  We will share best practices for providing targeted feedback focusing on the language of the rubric.  

Part 2 topics Include: recommending and requiring PD, reviewing the Teacher Evaluation Process, Assigning Rights, Confirming Evaluation Plan types of staff, navigating the Staff Evaluation Dashboard, running reports to help identify plan completion steps troubling shootin common problems. This webinar is for NCEES assigned District and Site Administrators. Participants will learn how to start the school year provisioning Staff Accounts in the system, setting plan types, the difference between setting access to a staff plan vs setting access to principal evaluation, how to verify staff have started plans so they show up in Staff Evaluations and how to set Evaluator, Observer, Peers and Mentors, View Only and Re-Open access rights to other staff. Troubleshooting tips and solutions will also be shared for common problems.

Reports: Ad-Hoc Reporting and Export to PDF in NCEES

NCEES District Administrators, learn how to create raw data and graphical reports with Ad-Hoc reporting. DA’s will learn how to publish ad-hoc reports for Site Administrators (Principals) to run that include field level filter choices. Includes how to schedule the system to run your Ad-Hoc reports. We’ll also learn how to create and run Export to PDF reports that generate an individual PDF on each of your staff. Good for BT Audits and End or Year Summary Evaluation records.

How will I receive credit? If attending a webinar, you must login to the LIVE webinar using the link sent to you after you register. Our webinar service will track who logs into the webinar and how long they participate. Within 5 business days after the webinar is concluded, a certificate of participation will be sent via email to those who participated in the LIVE webinar session.
