NC College Connect Application deadline is January 2, 2026. Be sure to submit your direct admission application by this date to claim your spot.
NC College Connect is a groundbreaking initiative offering direct college admission to eligible high school seniors across the state for the 2025–2026 school year! Open to public high school seniors with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher who meet course requirements, students will be matched with colleges where they already qualify — no traditional application needed.
Eligible students may now access their CFNC.org portal to see their list of matched colleges and universities. Accept your college admissions offer now! Commit later.

If your student is eligible, they will receive direct admission information during the fall of their senior year. Please ensure your student has taken or is scheduled to take a fourth-level math course, as this is a requirement. Your school counselor can assist with confirming this on their schedule. Select NC College Connect, to learn more about this amazing opportunity and select CFNC NC College Connect.
NC College Connect is a legitimate program that offers North Carolina public high school students with a weighted GPA of 2.8 and above who meet NC College Connect requirements direct admissions.

NC College Connect Student Files
The last data pull for NC College Connect has occurred.
NOTE: All LEAs and Charters were given the opportunity to update their data in the NCSIS based on the verification report to ensure every student eligible will be captured in the data set. No changes are able to be made to the data file at this point. Students will be able to access their college matches at the CFNC.org portal. No letters will be mailed this fall.
