Beginning Teacher Support Collaborative Meetings
The new Regional Beginning Teacher Support Collaborative (BTSC) meetings provide a networking opportunity for Charters, LEAs, and EPPs (Educator Preparation Programs) across the state. Each REF will host a Beginning Teacher Support Collaborative meeting.
Mission Statement:
At the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, our mission is to provide collaborative sessions for Educator Preparation Programs and all Public School Units in each of the eight State Board of Education regions to enhance teacher preparation and beginning teacher support programs.
Goals:
- Analyze teacher preparation
- Collaborate to enhance beginning teacher support
- Provide resources to promote quality induction
- Share resources
