Most licensure inquiries can be answered by your local PSU licensure specialist. Please contact your district licensure office first as NCDPI contact lines are busy and have longer wait times.

- If you are checking on the status of an application that you have already submitted, please press 1.
For information about applying for and updating your North Carolina professional educator’s license, contact asklicensure@dpi.nc.gov. Please note when emailing us to include your full name in the email, as well as the last 4 numbers of your SSN and your license or application number. Failure to provide this information may create delays in our ability to respond.
