Data Warehouse and Reporting System

Three trees representing the longitudinal data system

The CEDARS Data Warehouse and Reporting System is the centralized data repository containing statewide longitudinal data, along with reporting and analysis capabilities that support statewide data review and decision-making.

The system supports analysis of relationships between educational factors and student performance over time. CEDARS serves the data sharing and reporting needs of DPI staff, school principals, local administrators, state and federal policy leaders, researchers, and other consumers of educational data. It also strengthens the state’s ability to share and exchange data with external partners, including institutions of higher education and other state agencies.
