District Visits & Voices

Superintendent Catherine Truitt and key leaders at the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) visit districts across North Carolina to listen and learn about various initiatives taking place in schools and throughout districts. These visits are a key way that the department gains insight from the field, while aligning each visit with the Superintendent’s Operation Polaris and the State Board of Education’s strategic vision.
