Education Business Systems Advisory Committee

The approved School Business Systems Modernization plan recommended the creation of an advisory committee. This committee was established in May 2018 and has LEA Finance representatives recommended by the NC Association of School Business Officials (NCASBO) and LEA Human Resources representatives recommended by the Personnel Administrators of North Carolina (PANC).

This Committee is responsible for advising the School Business Systems Modernization Team, NCDPI Leadership and others on business systems (people, processes, and technology) available for use by school districts, schools and NCDPI. The members of the committee bring unique knowledge and skills which augment the knowledge and skills of the School Business Systems Modernization Program Office and enable the SBSM Program Director to guide the organization more effectively. The advisory committee serves to make recommendations and/or provide key information and materials to the SBSM Program Office and represent the collective needs of the North Carolina Education Landscape.
