Topics Related to Exceptional Children

This training is designed for preschool assessment team members who are experienced in using TPBA2 for the assessment of young children and want to learn more about using TPBA2 in evaluating young children suspected of autism spectrum disorder. Participants will deepen their understanding of how autism-related characteristics may influence a play-based assessment and learn how to adapt their evaluation planning, information-gathering strategies, and facilitation techniques accordingly.

This virtual cohort will guide PSU teams and individuals through foundational understanding of the 3 Medicaid programs available to public schools and explore how to implement or improve Medicaid capacity collaboratively. Ample time is reserved for questions and discussion of best practices and organizational options. Each team will develop goals and an action plan for the coming school year.
