The Essentials of Practice-Based Coaching
An introduction to Practice-Based Coaching as a cyclical process for guiding practitioners’ use of evidence-based early childhood instructional practices for promoting positive child outcomes for all young children, and specifically for children with disabilities. This series focuses on coaching to support the use of any evidence-based practices in early childhood classrooms including the NC Inclusive Practices: A Positive Behavioral Supports Professional Learning Series for Educators Serving Young Children with Disabilities. Participants will review the components set forth in The Essentials of Practice-Based Coaching - 1) collaborative partnerships, 2) shared goals and action planning, 3) focused observation, and 4) reflection and feedback.

Application Series
This series will support coaches to establish effective coaching cycles that include all components of the Practice-Based Coaching model. Participants will be guided to plan, deliver, and document coaching cycles with their initial coachee.
