Description:This webinar provides an introduction to Assistive Technology (AT), including relevant laws, distinctions between UDL and AT, and examples of common AT tools used in educational settings. It sets a foundational understanding for school-based staff.

In this session, we will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can be used as Assistive Technology (AT) to support students with disabilities. After a brief overview of policies impacting AT, we will dive into practical examples of how AI can help students with communication, executive functioning, reading, writing, and more.

During this webinar participants will learn how to leverage a tool that is likely already available within the school or district: 3D printers. During the session participants will learn more about how to leverage 3D printing technology to create Assistive Technology solutions to support their students.

AT in the IEP: IEPs can be tricky, but don't sweat it! We'll break down how to include AT in these plans so everyone's on the same page with clear goals, and no confusion.
