This even will need to be rescheduled due to technical difficulties as a result of Hurricane Helene - Consideration of AT Needs: Let's talk about figuring out if students need AT to succeed in school. We'll look at how to weave AT into the IEP process.

This session will provide school based staff with a brief overview of the Quality Indicators for AT and the self evaluation metrics that go along with those Quality Indicators.
September 17, 2024, 12pm - 1pm
This session will provide school based staff with a brief introduction to AT. It will go over laws that impact AT, what moves a device from UDL to AT as well as providing some examples of different types of AT.
December 10, 2024, 2pm - 4pm
Do you support Assistive Technology work within the school setting in North Carolina? If yes this session is for you. During our Virtual AT Networking Sessions you will have an opportunity to connect and learn from others doing the same or similar work as it relates to Assistive Technology. These sessions are facilitated by the state consultant for Assistive Technology with the goal being to provide an opportunity to interact, ask questions and learn from those serving students in the schools. After Registering participants will be provided with the link to attend the session.
