AT Pre-Conference Details

Teepa Snow - Aging and Technology: Teepa Snow is an occupational therapist and dementia care specialist who advocates for people with dementia and other brain changes. Her Positive Approach to Care (PAC) philosophy aims to improve dementia care and reduce stigma through education and training. Snow's approach focuses on a person's remaining abilities, rather than what they've lost, and encourages caregivers to adapt their care strategies as dementia progresses. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

 Therese Willkomm – DIY Assistive Technology : Therese Willkomm is the director of ATinNH, the New Hampshire statewide assistive technology program with the Institute on Disability, and is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of New Hampshire. She holds a Ph.D. She is an innovative and resourceful advocate for individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live fuller lives through creative and accessible assistive technology solutions. 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT

Cost: $125 per session or $200 for both
