This course is designed for school and district level teams that are linked and working closely with their respective school or district MTSS/Leadership Team.

The Creating a Professional Culture Based on Social and Emotional Learning course is designed as part of an online professional learning series developed by Integrated Academic and Behavior Systems. The intent of the series is to support teacher, administrator, and school staff understanding of what social and emotional learning (SEL) is and its importance, as well as to explain how to implement and integrate SEL into their respective contexts in a culturally responsive way.

This course is intended for general education teachers and special education teachers/providers. We anticipate this course to be beneficial to you by providing appropriate training in procedures and addressing student behavior in a positive and safe manner. This is directly in response to House Bill 1032/Deborah Greenblatt Act (Session Law 2005-205): An act to clarify the permissible use of seclusion and restraint in the Public Schools and to provide training in the management of student behavior.
