TeachNC
NCDPI partners with TeachNC as part of our teacher recruitment strategy. TeachNC is eager to partner with you to support and amplify your district’s recruitment efforts. TeachNC can provide support to LEAs in the following ways:
- Identifying unlicensed staff within your district who are interested in becoming a licensed North Carolina educator.
- Reimbursing your non-licensed staff up to $100 of the cost of applying to an EPP.
- Expanding the reach of your job fairs by marketing them on their platform.
- Inviting those interested in teaching to info sessions to learn about the different pathways to licensure and the EPPs available to them.
- Providing free 1-on-1 advising to those interested in licensure.
This is not an exhaustive list. TeachNC is willing to work with you and brainstorm the ways in which they can be of best support to your district’s unique needs. To learn more about how TeachNC can support your district, reach out to Gab Barnes, Senior Program Manager of TeachNC, at gbarnes@teachnc.org
