This session is for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments with over 4 years of experience serving students with Visual Impairments. This professional learning community meets throughout the year to explore resources, materials and best practices for students with visual impairments.

This is a NIMAC AMP sponsored event for all Braillist using Duxbury software to download and access NIMAC files.

The purpose of this cohort is to provide targeted support and technical assistance to teachers of the visually impaired and other service providers who have zero to three years of experience working with students with visual impairments.

This session is intended to inform educators about the services Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) offers for students with Visual Impairments ages 14 and up. This sessions will be an overview of information and how to connect with local resources.

These sessions are designed to review and examine the best practices for serving students with Neurological Visual Impairments. These sessions will review components of assessments to help teams determine approaches, accommodations and best practices in the educational environment.

These sessions will examine the best practices and essential information for teams to consider when reviewing Functional Vision and Learning Media Assessments for Students with Visual Impairments.

This session is to kick off the 4+ cohort for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments with over 4 years of experience serving students with Visual Impairments.

This ongoing cohort and professional learning community is for Accessible Media Producers (AMPs) this includes Braillist. Participants are learning about everything from new technologies for embossed braille and tactile graphics to downloading and accessing digital content for student use in a timely manner.
