NC DPI in collaboration with Guilford County Schools isoffering a free, learning community to North Carolina teacherson the High-Leverage Practices (HLPs), shown to improve studentoutcomes when implemented correctly. The HLPs are organizedaround four aspects of practice: collaboration, assessment, social/emotional/behavioral, and instruction. From these four aspects ofpractice, there are 22 practices intended to address the mostcritical practices that every K–12 teacher should master and beable to demonstrate.
