In response to popular request, four afternoon workshops (1-4p) will be offered to follow-up the full day sessions on Effective IEPs through Collaboration. Prior to registering for this workshop, participants must have participated in one of the full day sessions on Effective IEPs Through Collaboration or Integrated IEP Development offered previously (school years 2023-2025). Participants should review slides/content from the full day sessions prior to attending the workshop.

NOTE: This professional learning offering was formerly known as Integrated IEPs & Embedded Intervention.Collaboration is a long-established best practice in education and other practice settings, supported by IDEA, High Leverage Practices, literature and evidence from occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and psychological services disciplines. This session will explore prerequisites and key features of collaborative practice for developing and implementing effective IEPs.
TPBA2 Facilitated Practice offers an opportunity for guided practice in recording observation notes, applying the age table guidelines, and developing age ranges and cluster scores through a previously recorded assessment session. This session is intended for new evaluation team members inclusive of these roles: psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, play facilitators, and parent facilitators.
Diving Deeper into the Domains series builds on TPBA2: The Essentials training to provide opportunities for team members to become more familiar with each domain. It is critically important that every team member becomes familiar with the content of each domain as well as how the domains overlap and support one another. This session is intended for new evaluation team members inclusive of these roles: psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, play facilitators, and parent facilitators.
