About The NCDPI K-12 Science Team

The K-12 Science Team's purpose is to support teachers with the North Carolina Science Standards. The current state content standards were approved by the North Carolina State Board of Education in 2023, with required implementation for schools in 2024. The work of the K-12 Science Team includes: academic standards; support documents and professional learning.
