A Positive Behavioral Supports Professional Learning Series for Educators Serving Young Children with Disabilities
This offering of Module 3 is a two half-day event (synchronous virtual) that provides a foundational understanding of behavior support planning by exploring key principles. Participants will learn how to determine the underlying reason for a child’s challenging behavior and identify factors that influence adult responses to those behaviors. Additionally, participants will examine the essential components of an effective behavior support plan as well as the teacher’s role in development and implementation of the plan.
*Prerequisite: Participants must complete Inclusive Practices: Social & Emotional Foundations for Early Learning - Preschool OR Kindergarten Module 1 (formerly Pyramid Model Tier I) prior to taking Module 3.
