Collaboration is a long-established best practice in education and other practice settings, supported by IDEA, High Leverage Practices, literature and evidence from occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and psychological services disciplines. These in-person workshops will complement foundational content in the Key Features of Effective IEPs through Collaboration virtual session and focus on applied activities. Participants should review slides/content from the Key Features session or other previously attended sessions on collaborative/integrated IEPs and embedded intervention. These workshops will support collaborative practice for and implementation of effective IEP development and service delivery. Our time will be invested primarily in exploring IEP development/implementation "Look Fors" and small group application/work on IEP cases. Teams that develop IEPs and deliver services together are encouraged to register together. A certificate of attendance for .55 CEU or 5.5 contact hours will be provided.
