Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment 2: The Essentials is an overview of the developmentally appropriate evaluation tool used with young children. During the session, participants will be introduced to the TPBA2 process, which includes establishing an effective team and utilizing parents as a key component to inform decisions. In addition, a summary of the observation guidelines and age tables will be presented.

This one-day workshop is intended for professionals working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the general education setting. Participants will be provided with an overview of the characteristics of ASD to support the planning and provision of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI). Particular attention will be given to the use of visual supports to increase student engagement in and completion of standards-aligned tasks and assignments. Carthage, NC

This professional learning is directed towards teachers of students with significant cognitive disabilities. Professionals will collaborate to analyze, decode, plan, and create mathematical activities based on the Extended Content Standards. This training will be held in Asheville, NC on October 10, 2024, from 8:30 - 3:30 with an hour lunch on your own.
