Troops to Teachers

TTT Participant Teaches Student

Program Function

The program objective is to assist eligible military personnel and veterans transition to new careers as public school teachers.

The office provides participants with counseling and assistance regarding certification requirements, routes to state certification and employment leads for those eligible for hire as teachers.

For participants that meet certain criteria as defined by the legislation, financial assistance may be provided (constrained on availability of funds) to eligible participants to assist with their transition to the classroom.
