This two-day in-person workshop is intended for professionals working with learners in the early childhood setting who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will be provided with an overview of ASD, explore how it impacts engagement and independence in an early childhood setting, and apply effective instructional practices within case scenarios. Particular attention will be given to the use of visual supports (schedules, activity systems, material design, and environmental design).
Successful completion of this professional learning will result in 1.3 CEUs.
