A two half-day event to introduce Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) as a cyclical process for guiding practitioners’ use of evidence-based classroom practices for promoting positive outcomes for children with disabilities. Participants will review the components set forth in The Essentials of Practice-Based Coaching - 1) collaborative partnerships, 2) shared goals and action planning, 3) focused observation, and 4) reflection and feedback.
This series is offered in a synchronous virtual format.

Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- describe the practice-based coaching (PBC) components and essential strategies
- apply the PBC coaching strategies to facilitate goal setting and action planning
- apply the PBC coaching strategies to facilitate a focused observation, reflection and feedback
Prerequisites
- Participants must be trained in the evidence-based classroom practices (i.e., NC Inclusive Practices) they intend to support with PBC.
