Session Topics
- An overview of educationally relevant physical therapy evaluation and helpful evaluation and assessment tools.
- Clarification of IEP development and ways to individualize and collaborate on student goals and services throughout the school day.
- A review of the new APTA Code of Ethics for Physical Therapy (all practitioners) and participant supplied situations for application.
Ample time will be reserved for participant questions (either submitted with registration or offered in-person) and discussion.
Intended Audience
Focus of content will be on physical therapy (especially evaluation and Code of Ethics), however; the session is open to all roles and interested participants (SLP/OT practitioners, administrators, teachers, etc.).
