Summer Bridge Academy (PRC 176)
PRC 176 & 177 - This grant is funded from ESSER II. Funds are obligated by September 30, 2023.
The Summer Bridge Academy grant program will help fund high-quality, evidence-based in-person learning and enrichment summer programs for students deemed “at-risk” or those the PSU identify as having been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will respond to the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students.
Additionally, PSUs will have the opportunity to opt-into learning cohorts with other Summer Bridge Academy participants. Cohorts will meet regularly to collaborate and plan their programs with the goal of identifying, sharing, and establishing best practices.
These resources have been carefully reviewed and crafted to support each component of your Summer Bridge Academy grant program and provide thoughtful guidance on how to best align with PRC 176 as well as support our students in their summer learning and enrichment journey.
