CRDC Documentation and Webinar Events Important Reminders About the CRDC in North Carolina It is important to remember that NCDPI will facilitate the transfer of data to the Federal Submission Tool, however; it is the responsibility of all PSUs to verify, make corrections to and Certify the data collection in the federal system by February 28, 2022. It is critical that OCR Coordinators familiarize themselves with the CRDC Resource Center and download the LEA and School level federal forms. Federal CRDC Documentation and Resources North Carolina Specific Process and Procedures Webinar: Preparing for the Civil Rights Data Collection Non-PowerSchool Data Files The Civil Rights Data Collection Resource Center is an interactive, online platform that provides CRDC participants (e.g., LEAs; some SEAs that voluntarily provide CRDC data on behalf of their LEAs) easy access to a range of technical assistance products and resources, and allows users to quickly navigate to more detailed information and additional resources. This site is the landing page that includes but is not limited to: Overview information about the CRDC Videos,Workgroups and Starter Kit sections Federal survey requirements - These documents are critical to understanding this report. Users must prepare their PowerSchool instance prior to NCDPI extracting data to upload into the federal submission tool. If PowerSchool preparation is not complete, PSUs will be required to update the Federal Submission Tool on their own. CRDC NC Data Dictionary and Course Code List - SY2020-2021 - published August 19, 2021 This Excel document is a complete list of elements collected by NCDPI for the CRDC. The document can be used to understand the logic within PowerSchool to collect data and contains information about data not collected in PowerSchool. Additionally, there is a tab that lists NC course codes applicable to this collection. Certified Teacher Class Counts (COUR-1a, COUR-9, COUR-14, COUR-16) - re-published November 23, 2021 This file can be filtered to view entities within a PSU reporting certified teacher class counts for CRDC specific courses. Data in this file are a crosswalk from Licensure codes, Staff UID and CRDC specific course codes. FTE (STAF-1, STAF-2, STAF-3, SECR-1) - Published November 10, 2021 This file can be filtered to view entities within a PSU reporting School and support staff and School Security Staff. This data was provided by Financial Business Services. The data comes from Payroll. It is important to understand that the CRDC School Form states: 'Include Staff regardless of how staff were funded (i.e., federal, state, and/or local funds or funds from another entity).' Work with the local Finance Officer or Charter Management company to ensure all data is collected. Internet Devices (INET-1, INET-2) - re-published November 03, 2021 This file can be filtered to view entities within a PSU reporting Internet Access and Devices. This data was provided by DLMI. The most recent collection period was December 2020-Jan 2021. The next collection period is scheduled for June 2022.
